Millstone is a round, heavy grinding stone that was traditionally used in mills for grinding grain or oilseeds.
In the context of Styrian pumpkin seed oil: according to the official description, the dried seeds are first finely milled in stone mills or cutting mills. Only afterwards are water and salt added; the mash is roasted and then pressed. The millstone therefore grinds the dry, still unroasted seeds, not the mass that has already been roasted.
