What is Pumpkin Oil?

Pumpkin Seed Oil Press Review

USA USA | NaturallySavvy

Americans associate pumpkins with Halloween and Thanksgiving. They conjure up images of jack-o-lanterns or eating pumpkin pie. However, pumpkins can provide more than just a decoration or a tasty dessert. They also offer pumpkin seeds and pumpkin oil.

what is pumpkin oil
Pumpkin oil is pressed from pumpkin seeds which are roasted and pressed to make an oil that is dark green to black.

Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, pumpkin oil is good for you. It is also rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, D, E and K, and magnesium and calcium. Recent studies also indicates that pumpkin oil can be used to prevent or treat a condition called benign prostatic hyperplasia (bph).

Pumpkin oil can also be used as a salad dressing thanks to its nutty flavor, but don’t cook with it as heating it may kill some of its health benefits.
